ACES / ABES

The fundamental objective of the American College of Eye Surgeons (ACES) is to promote high quality standards in the area of ophthalmic surgical services. ACES is committed to assuring a continuing awareness of the importance of the value of high quality ophthalmic surgical services among the public, governmental regulators, insurers, alternative delivery systems and others.

Additionally, ACES hosts annual "Quality Surgery" educational programs, which provide a forum through which physicians are exposed to many of the newest techniques in surgical ophthalmology.

The primary objective of the American Board of Eye Surgery (ABES) is to ensure relevant and appropriate criteria to permit the identification and recognition of valid and accepted standards of quality and competency for eye surgery. ABES is dedicated to promoting high quality ophthalmic surgical care through certification programs where a surgeon's actual surgical skills and judgment are tested and observed by his or her peers.

Member Discounts

In 1999, Rose & Associates was selected by the American College of Eye Surgeons (ACES) as their preferred consultant of choice for issues involving Medicare reimbursement and coding. ACES/ABES is committed to establishing standards of knowledge, judgment, and technical skill to demonstrate excellence in ophthalmic surgical care. ACES also understands the importance of an ophthalmic practice to maintain Medicare reimbursement and coding compliance. Regular chart audits and training seminars can help reduce the risk of adverse Medicare audits and help eliminate the possibility of filing fraudulent claims.

To help you achieve that goal, Rose & Associates will offer any ACES member or ABES certified physician a 15% discount on chart audit services and seminars and a $75/month discount to participate in our Monthly Maintenance Program.
